The second webinar in the Anaerobic Digester Series from the WSU Energy Program will focus on the complexities of navigating utility interconnection agreements. Experts from the power industry and the Department of Commerce’s Rural Clean Energy division will share insights on negotiating with both electric and gas utilities. Additionally, Puget Sound Energy’s interconnection lead will share takeaways from Whatcom County digester projects, Markus Virta will discuss parallel regulatory hurdles in community solar, and the Department of Commerce will outline how digesters fit into their energy strategy and support programs.
