The second webinar in the Washington State University Energy Program’s Anaerobic Digester Series focuses on the complexities of navigating utility interconnection agreements. Experts from the power industry and the Washington State Department of Commerce’s Rural Clean Energy division will share insights on negotiating with electric and gas utilities. Additionally, Puget Sound Energy’s interconnection lead will share takeaways from Whatcom County digester projects, Markus Virta will discuss parallel regulatory hurdles in community solar, and the Department of Commerce will outline how digesters fit into their statewide energy strategy and support programs.
