2025 San Juan County Master Gardeners Garden Workshop Series Flyer. Details provided in event description.

The San Juan County WSU Extension Master Gardener program and San Juan County Master Gardener Foundation are pleased to present our 2025 Garden Workshop Series. Held virtually, it includes four hour-long presentations with extra time for questions and discussion. Our speakers are scientists, authors, naturalists, professional gardeners, and accomplished Master Gardeners who share their knowledge, experience, and beautiful photographs of plants, flowers, birds and bees, and garden pests.

The Workshop is open to all, and counts as 4 hours of continuing education for Master Gardeners. Presentations will be recorded and available to view by paid registrants through November 30. Workshop dates are October 14, 16, 20, 23rd from 12:00-1:30. Pre registration is required.

Marryn Mathis will share her deep knowledge and passion for sweet peas, taking you on an informative journey through her nearby Washington Farmhouse Flower Farm and teaching you how to plant, grow, harvest, and arrange beloved and easy to grow sweet peas.

“Harvest Vegetables All Year Round” Linda Gilkeson
Gardeners in the mild climate of the West Coast can enjoy fresh food from their gardens all 12 months of the year. To do that you need to choose the right varieties and plant them at the right time. Learn what to grow, when to plant, simple methods for protecting crops from extreme weather and how to fit winter crops in with summer plantings to make the most of your garden space.
